Health and wellbeing achievements

A number of ARRB's workers spend time both in and out of the office, either with clients or on-the-road. As such, the ARRB office in Perth have developed a comprehensive travel plan ( with the assistance of TravelSmart Workplaces), enabling greater use of alternative travel options whilst at the same time reducing transport fumes and congestion. This comprehensive approach included an access audit, staff travel survey and the development of a detailed action plan. Thanks to a HWWA grant ARRB now have two e-Bikes to further encourage active travel during staff business and leisure time.

ARRB continuously encourages their workers to participate in physical activity, initiatives include group fitness training sessions, the provision of an allowance for health and wellbeing purchases and healthy workplace activities such as the 10,000 steps challenge.
