McMullen Nolan Group (MNG) provides a comprehensive range of survey and geospatial information services to clients across WA and beyond via its operational bases in Perth, Bunbury, Newman, Onslow, Port Hedland, Broome, Kununurra and Sydney. 

Health and wellbeing achievements

  • Allocate an annual budget to implement their workplace health and wellbeing program. 
  • Have an action plan which outlines the range of initiatives they are going to implement over the next 12 months. 
  • Incorporate health and wellbeing in to their Health and Safety committee meetings. 
  • Provide workplace facilities that support and encourage healthy behaviours including bike racks, bike storage areas, changing room facilities and lockers.
  • Provide eskies to staff who work in the field to encourage them to bring a healthy lunch to work.
  • Encourage staff to actively commute to and from work by promoting and participating in events such as Ride to Work Day. 
  • Allocate time during the work day for staff to attend Pilates sessions, health checks and education sessions provided by the company. 
  • Provide gym memberships for regional staff members. 
  • Subsidise physical activity event registrations including HBF Run for a Reason, the Santos Great Bike Ride and SKILLED corporate triathlon.  
  • Provide staff with healthy gifts and incentives such as pedometers, gym towels and sports vouchers. 
  • Include health and wellbeing tips and event information in their quarterly newsletter
  • Evaluate the success of their program by conducting staff surveys and requesting ongoing feedback/suggestions on how they can improve their program.
