Workplace Profile

High Energy Service (HES) is a High Voltage and High Energy solutions provider. They offer services and solutions for Engineering, Testing, Maintenance, Compliance, Design, Installation, Commissioning and Cable Jointing. 

Health and Wellbeing Profile

High Energy Service's workplace health and wellbeing program is coordinated by a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Coordinator. In August 2019 High Energy Service became a Bronze Recognised Healthy Workplace. Congratulations High Energy Service.   

Planning

Following completion of the HWWA Coordinator Training, the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator undertook staff consultation to gain a greater understanding of the differing health and wellbeing needs and requirements of all staff at High Energy Service. From here, an action plan was formulated. High Energy Service places great value in senior management support and views this as vital to the success of their program.

"As a majority of our staff are on rotating FIFO rosters it is hard to ensure all staff are being reached. With the help of Supervisors and Managers we are managing to get our programs across to all staff and implementing programs where possible for FIFO staff." 

Health and Wellbeing Program Activities

High Energy Service's health and wellbeing program included the following strategies and activities:  

  • Dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee and implement program activities
  • Free fruit baskets in all lunch rooms
  • Lunchtime walking groups
  • Subsidised gym memberships
  • Staff education regarding smoking
  • Flu vaccinations

High Energy Service is now working towards expanding their health and wellbeing program and transitioning to a higher recognition level.
