The impact of alcohol and other drugs in the workplace is an important health and wellbeing topic for all of us. The direct cost of substance misuse to Australian industry is quite significant – estimated to exceed $3.7 billion a year(1).
Join Healthier Workplace WA and Holyoake Education and Training Officer Tara Sita, for a one-hour webinar session that will focus on the impact, empowering healthier choices and appropriate policy and management of alcohol and other drug issues in the workplace.
The webinar will cover:
- The impact of alcohol and other drugs on the body and brain, and the resulting effect on workplace culture and productivity
- Tips for promoting a healthy and responsible workplace that empowers employees to make choices that will have a positive impact on their personal and professional lives
- Information on appropriate policy and management of related issues.

Tara Sita is an Education and Training Officer with Holyoake. Tara specialises in delivering workplace training and information sessions, with a focus on alcohol and other drug issues. Tara has worked in the alcohol and other drug field for seven years, as a counsellor, educator and trainer with individuals, groups and in corporate settings. Tara is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University Western Australia.
